The Automated Logic ALC/10K-2-O-BB-TS Outside Air Temperature Sensor uses 10K-2 Thermistor as the sensing element and consists of Terminal Strip connection. 

Protected with BAPI-Box enclosure made of UV-resistant polycarbonate and has IP66 (NEMA 4) rating.  This is an ideal sensor for the outdoors that can be used even in times of rainy and winter season.

The Outside Air Temperature Sensor has a UV-resistant plastic shield that protects the sensor from direct sunlight and is well-ventilated.  You can install the sensor outdoor but must not be mounted near windows, doors, or vents.  The Outside Air Sensor includes etched Teflon leadwires that are designed to withstand harsh conditions, humidity, and condensation.  For additional protection, you can purchase a BAPI Weather Shade Kit.
