The Conbraco DPE80 is an 8-inch cast iron drip pan elbow designed for steam safety valve installations.  It connects to the outlet of a safety valve and helps direct steam discharge away from the valve into the discharge piping. The drip pan elbow also directs condensate to drain, supporting safer and more controlled operation in steam system applications.

This model is built from gray iron ASTM A126 Class B and is finished with a black phosphate or black paint coating.  The DPE80 features an 8-inch, 125# flange inlet connection with an integral cast ANSI 125# flange that bolts directly to the valve outlet.  Its design provides ideal flow characteristics while helping isolate the safety valve from piping stresses caused by discharge piping weight, thermal expansion, and reaction forces during valve discharge.

The DPE80 is selected to match the nominal outlet size of the safety valve.  The DPE80 has an 8-inch NPS/DN 200 size and a 125# flange connection.
