The Dungs 272262 (VD-V-AC) is an open/close ValveDrive used in the MultiBloc MBE, alongside a ValveBody and PressureSensor.  It operates on 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 24 VDC power and has a slow-opening (~7 seconds) and fast-closing (<1 second) mechanism.  CE marked, ensuring compliance with international safety standards.

This component is an electronic actuator powered by a stepper motor, designed to actuate safety valves and optionally regulate outlet pressure.  It features a status LED that glows blue when the actuator is energized and a red visual indicator flag that appears when the valve is opening or regulating.  Models are available with or without a Proof of Closure (POC) switch.

The VD-V-AC functions as a safety shut-off valve compatible with every burner.  It is recommended for industrial and commercial heating applications requiring two safety shut-off valves in series.  The MBE is suitable for natural gas, vaporized propane or butane, air, 100% hydrogen, biogas (up to 1% vol. H₂S), and other inert gases.
