The Trane COL16269 is a flat-fin made of thin small metal strips for the evaporator coil.

The flat fin helps transfer heat to the coil, heat refrigerant, and absorb internal heat.

The COL16269 directly replaces COL09705, COL13241, COL13247, and COL15661.

It includes a drain pan and is compatible with Trane and American Standard systems.

The COL16269 does include a drain pan. We do not have one currently in stock so we are unable to determine at the moment whether this unit comes with a TXV. However, most of the Trane OEM coils are designed with the thermostatic expansion valve attached. When we are able to update the information regarding this part in the future we will note it in the product description so please continue to visit the product detail page for additional information as it becomes available.
