Tjernlund Commercial Air In-Forcer

The PAI-4 IN-FORCER is a combustion air intake systems designed for use with atmospheric or induced combustion gas and oil heating equipment. Many problems can cause insufficient combustion air, from flame roll-outs, decreased efficiencies, flue gas spillage. The standard system with metal louvers are a significant cause of unregulated outdoor air supply, mechanical room freeze and poor architecture. The IN-FORCER functions as the source of combustion air, eliminating the need for louvered openings. The IN-FORCER assures intake air is supplied by monitoring the air flow with a Fan Proving Switch. The main burner will be interrupted if a malfunction occurs.

Applications Include:

Restaurant kitchens with negative pressure caused by exhaust fans
Interior mechanical rooms with no direct access to an outside wall
Conversions from electric to gas or oil heating appliances
Laundries, dry cleaners, indoor pools etc. with chemically contaminated atmosphere
